The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published the responses to its consultation on the draft implementing technical standards (ITS) under MiFID II. The consultation sought views on three draft ITS required under MiFID II: (i) the suspension and removal of financial instruments from trading on a trading venue; (ii) the notification and provision of information for data reporting services providers; and (iii) the weekly aggregated position reports for commodity derivatives, emission allowances and derivatives thereof. Respondents to the ESMA consultation include the Investment Association, CME Europe Limited and London Stock Exchange Group.
