For the fifth year running, the Chambers High Net Worth guide, which focuses on the private wealth sector, recognized HHR as one of the nation’s leading law firms for Art and Cultural Property Law.

Chambers ranked HHR’s Art Law practice in the second-highest band among the top firms nationwide. “Hughes Hubbard have been acting in this field for a long time,” said market insiders. “Their experience in a wide range of complicated matters lends them credibility and makes them a strong advocate for their clients.”

Dan Weiner (Band 1) and Michael Salzman (Band 3) were individually recognized. “Dan is a smart, highly skilled lawyer in complex issues who is always prepared to go the full distance in his client’s interest,” one industry source said about Weiner. “You definitely want him on your side.” Another interviewee said of Salzman: “Michael is very knowledgeable about copyright and art law. He has a very broad knowledge on how an institution like a museum works and understands the sensitivities.”

Published by Chambers & Partners, the Chambers High Net Worth rankings comprise independent research based on hundreds of interviews with professionals about the private wealth industry.
