On 29 June 2021, the PRA and Financial Policy Committee (FPC) co-published a consultation paper on proposed changes to the UK leverage ratio framework. In the document the FPC proposes to make changes to the UK leverage ratio framework and the PRA sets out its proposed approach to implementing the changes. A summary of the FPC’s proposals can be found in paragraph 1.9 of the consultation paper, a summary of the PRA’s proposals can be found in paragraph 1.18. The deadline for responding to the consultation paper is 24 August 2021.
