On 9 March 2017, we blogged that European Commission adopted Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) of 8 March 2017 supplementing the Regulation on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products by laying down regulatory technical standards with regard to the presentation, content, review and revision of key information documents and the conditions for fulfilling the requirement to provide such documents (Delegated Regulation).
The Delegated Regulation has now been published in the Official Journal of the European Union and will come into force on 2 May 2017. The Delegated Regulation will apply from 1 January 2018, and Article 14(2) will apply until 31 December 2019.
