Understanding the FSB’s Key Attributes of Effective Resolution Regimes for FIs

By Simon Lovegrove (UK) on August 25, 2016

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has published a new web page on understanding the Key Attributes of Effective Resolution Regimes for Financial Institutions (Key Attributes).

In addition to providing a link to the current version of the Key Attributes the web page contains links to the related guidance that the FSB has published. This includes sector specific guidance on banks, insurers, financial market infrastructures and financial firms holding client assets.

In August 2013 the FSB published a consultation on the assessment methodology for the Key Attributes and now states on the web page that the final methodology for the banking sector will be published in late 2016.
