ECON votes to adopt draft report on proposed Benchmark Regulation

The European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs has voted to adopt its draft report on the proposed Regulation on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts.

The text of the report has not yet been made publicly available. The text will be put to a vote by the European Parliament as a whole, to consolidate its position before trialogue negotiations with Member States and the European Commission.
