Veterans Employment Center Announced

By Connie Bertram & Daniel Davis on April 29, 2014

Last week the White House announced the implementation of an online employment tool to assist contractors, service members, veterans and their families.  The Veterans Employment Center is the result of an interagency effort to simplify the process for veterans and their spouses to seek and obtain gainful employment.  The website can be found here.  The site allows employers to search the resumes of service members, veterans, and their spouses.  Employers can also post job openings on the site.

The Veterans Employment Center provides another avenue for employers to comply with the OFCCP’s final rules implementing the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act.
