Putting Social Media to Work for You : ABA Webinar on Friday

By Kevin O'Keefe on October 8, 2014
ABA Webinar

I have the pleasure of presenting at an ABA Webinar on social media this Friday. I’ll be joined by Nicole Black (@nikiblack), Director of Business Development at MyCase and a widely recognized authority on social media.

We’ll cover social media principals, blogging, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. The focus will be embracing what is now ubiquitous — for the public, if not lawyers.

Specifically we’ll hit:

  • How various forms of social media can meaningfully enhance your professional presence
  • How you network online to build relationships and enhance your word of mouth reputation
  • Which aspects of social media you ought to incorporate and prioritize in your work
  • Ways to harness social media in your job search, now or in the future

The details:

  • Friday, October 10
  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM ET
  • Free for ABA members, $95 otherwise
  • Register here

A special thanks go to Kathy Morris, founder of Under Advisement, our moderator, and he American Bar Association for their work in putting this webinar together. I hope to “see” you there.
