Twitter is Coming Back

By Kevin O'Keefe on July 3, 2026

Twitter is coming back, or at least it is for me. I’ll also acknowledge Twitter is something you make come back.

Back, to me, means personal engagement – real networking through the Internet. What we’ve sought across the net over the last 30 years.

  • Engaging with people you’ve not seen in a while.
  • Tweets lacking company or self promotion, something I feel over at LinkedIn.
  • Tweets sharing news someone has read elsewhere.
  • Bigger news items (bigger meaning the subject feeling closer to home) showing up in notifications.
  • Reconnecting with people with similar interests and levels of care.
  • Learning from real and genuine people who care.
  • Surrounded by the real innovators and leaders in their niches sharing insight just as they have here for almost 20 years.

Yep, the name has formally changed and so has the owner, who many folks don’t like. But Twitter is very much coming back, if you want to make it come back.

See you over on Twitter.
