Associates Ashley DeMouy and Hieu “Scott” Le traveled to Chicago to attend the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows and Pathfinder Fall Meetings, held November 4-6 and 5-7, respectively. Ashley was accepted into the organization’s 2025 Fellows Program and Scott was accepted into the 2025 Pathfinder Program in February of this year.
The Fellows Program offers high-potential, mid-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds at LCLD Member organizations the opportunity to develop leadership skills and build meaningful relationships within the legal profession. The Pathfinder Program provides high-potential, early-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession while gaining foundational leadership skills and relationship-building resources.
Among the topics covered at the Fellows Fall Meeting were “Tools for High-Stakes Communication” and “Exploring Core Leadership Styles.” Sessions at the Pathfinders Fall Meeting included “Building Courageous, Respectful Leaders in the Legal Profession” and “Taking Charge of Your Growth in a World that Won’t Stand Still,” where presenters shared their perspectives and practical suggestions for how mid- to senior-level associates should best prepare themselves for the AI-driven future of the legal profession.
Managing Member Alan Brackett was accepted for membership in the LCLD in January 2021. The organization is comprised of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners. LCLD’s action programs are designed to attract, inspire, and nurture the talent in society and within organizations, thereby helping a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
