TOMORROW: CPW’s Kristin Bryan Live Blogs Opening Remarks for FTC PrivacyCon 2021

By Kristin Bryan on July 26, 2021

Tomorrow, the FTC will host its sixth annual PrivacyCon on July 27, 2021 (remember CPW’s coverage of it last year?).  PrivacyCon 2021 will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including researchers, academics, industry representatives, consumer advocates, and government regulators, to discuss the latest research and trends related to consumer privacy and data security.  This event is always a must-attend, particularly as the views expressed by FTC representatives are typically a harbinger of changes to come in the realm of consumer privacy.  Well, not to worry-tomorrow at 9 am CPW’s Kristin Bryan will be live blogging PrivacyCon’s opening remarks (delivered by Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, Commissioner, Federal Trade Commission and Erie Meyer, Chief Technologist, Federal Trade Commission).  Stay tuned!
