With a successful legal career spanning 50 years, Tim joined Dickinson Bradshaw in 2016 and focused his practice on probate, estate planning, income taxation, and real estate law.

Tim earned his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School and was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1976. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a distinguished academic and military graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. Before attending law school, Tim served on active duty in the U.S. Army and in the Army Reserve from 1969 to 1973.

Among the milestones he achieved in his career, Tim received a Distinguished Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and he is a dedicated legal educator and mentor. He served as a CLE presenter on probate law in Iowa for the National Business Institute, and as a probate law instructor for paralegals at DMACC.
