Updated 2023 Tax Prof Rankings By H-Index All (Google Scholar)

Last year, Brian Leiter ranked the Top 75 law professors by citations as measured by Google Scholar H-Index All. Only two tax professors ranked in the Top 75: Alan Auerbach (UC-Berkeley) and James Hines (Michigan). I then ranked the Top 100 tax professors by Google Scholar H-Index All. As Brian noted, many law professors do not have Google Scholar pages and citation counts vary by field.
