I spent a very enjoyable hour or so last night talking to my good friend Lord Pannick KC about his extraordinary career at the bar and in the House of Lords. We were both delighted to donate our time — although it’s no secret that his hourly rate is higher than mine — for the benefit of Support Through Court, a charity helps people who face court alone to represent themselves to the best of their abilities.
