CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has appointed Guillermo Ruiz Barrilero (pictured), a lawyer specialised in insurance law, corporate law and M&A, to the insurance and innovation area.
Ruiz Barrilero specialises in commercial transactions within the insurance sector, advising national and international entities on M&A transactions, joint ventures, bancassurance transactions and restructurings.
He also combines his practice in commercial law with advice on contractual and regulatory matters to companies in the insurance and financial sector.
By this incorporation, the practice area, led by partner Jaime Bofill, celebrates two years since its creation in the Madrid office, having doubled its number of members since june 2020.
