What’s the Deal? – Registered Direct Offerings

Registered direct offerings, or RDOs, are hybrid securities offerings, meaning that these offerings have some characteristics typically associated with private placements and some characteristics of public offerings.   During periods of market volatility, a registered direct, with its targeted marketing approach, may be an attractive capital-raising alternative.  In this What’s the Deal? guide, we provide an overview of the registered direct offering.
