I’m off to Boston this week to the Association of Health Care Journalists Conference.  I will be on a panel with the following exploring – Why is food still making us sick in the 21st century?

• Will Daniels, senior vice president, operations and organic integrity, Earthbound Farm
• Bill D. Marler, J.D., managing partner, Marler Clark
• Michael R. Taylor, J.D., deputy commissioner for foods, U.S. Food and Drug Administration
• Moderator: Deborah Schoch, senior writer, CHCF Center for Health Reporting

AHCJ’s annual conference will be March 14-17 at the Seaport Boston Hotel and the adjacent Seaport World Trade Center. The hotel and conference center are located on the Boston waterfront in the growing Seaport District.

Join hundreds of other journalists as they take part in skill-building workshops, sit in on panel discussions and visit area research sites. The conference, produced by the association’s Center for Excellence in Health Care Journalism, features world-class speakers, important news briefings and helpful sessions all aimed at aiding reporters, editors and news producers in better covering the latest health issues.
