A few days at Cornell

By Bill Marler on September 4, 2012

There is no easy way to get to Ithaca from Seattle, but diner at Marion Nestle’s and Malden Nesheim’s on the shores of Lake Cayuga was well worth the trip on Labor Day.

Today, I got a quick tour of the campus (see, the Andrew Dickson White library) from Professor Robert Gravani of the Cornell Department of Food Science and spent time with the Department Chair, Dennis Miller, and his air conditioner – thanks Dennis. I also had a walk through of the impressive new addition to Stocking Hall – it is clearly going to give Washington State University’s Ferdinand’s ice cream and Cougar Gold cheese a run for the money.
