By Drew Falkenstein on August 25, 2011

Meadow Creek Dairy, of Galax, Virginia, has issued a recall of 4 pounds of its “Mini” raw milk cheeses after testing by the FDA produced a positive finding for listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled cheese was sold in Fredericksburg, Virginia between July 7 – August 19, 2011.  The Mini cheese was sold in approximately 1-pound squares wrapped in white cheese paper bearing the company logo on top and an identifying code on the bottom. The Minis included in the recall have “12211″ as the final five digits of this code.
