The number of people sickened in connection with the Defusco’s Bakery Salmonella outbreak continues to climb. Here are the new numbers from the Rhode Island Department of Health:

64 Cases Total (63 in Rhode Island, 1 in Massachusetts)
27 Hospitalizations (24 Discharged, 3 Current)
36 Lab-confirmed Salmonella
