Sample corporate blogging policies

By Kevin O'Keefe on December 20, 2006

I’ve mentioned a few of these before, but Justin Patten found a nice list of corporate blogging policies from The Yourdon Report.

  • IBM’s blogging policy, published in mid-May 2005.
  • Sun Microsysystems’ blogging policy in ten simple straightforward guidelines.
  • Yahoo Employee Blog Guidelines in downloadable PDF file.
  • Groove’s blogging guidelines, as discussed by Ray Ozzie, now Microsoft’s Chief Software Architect.
  • Charlene Li’s sample blogging policy, from Forrester Research — written as short bullet-list of half a dozen guidelines to keep in mind.

Though I’ve played a part in formulating some law firm blogging policies, I’ve not seen a completed one. Anyone care to share a law firm blogging policy?
