RSS feeds of every car make, model and year : Justia Auto Recalls Center

By Kevin O'Keefe on May 14, 2005

Justia announced this week the launch of their Justia Auto Recalls Center providing RSS feeds of recalls for every car make model and year.

This is truly an innovative use of RSS feeds. For the Auto Recalls Center, Justia took the 50,000+ recalls and broke them down by make-model-year for each recall and then added RSS feeds.

Finding recalls for a car is now very easy. Starting from the Justia Auto Recalls Home page, you browse to an auto’s make, then model and then year. You then subscribe to the the particular makem, model and year via an RSS Feed.

Tim Stanley, the founder of Justia, the leader in search engine optimized Web sites for law firms, has always marketed his businesses through public service as a way to bring attention to the business and draw traffic to the company’s Web site. He did it as the co-founder of Findlaw, the most complete Internet resource on legal and government information. He is doing it again at Justia.

With innovative resources like the recall center, you have to think he is going to give Thomson FindLaw’s law firm Web site business a run for their money.
