A Florida appellate panel ruled Wednesday that the Seminole Tribe of Florida is entitled to sovereign immunity in a lawsuit seeking to hold it liable for exposing a casino patron to COVID-19, saying the plaintiff failed to adhere to the tribe’s unique pre-suit process.
