Julie Schumacher appointed to the Iowa Court of Appeals

Gov. Kim Reynolds appointed Judge Julie Schumacher of Schleswig to the Iowa Court of Appeals to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Chief Judge Gayle Nelson Vogel of Spirit Lake.

Schumacher, 52, is a District Court Judge in the Third Judicial District of Iowa.
