Plaintiff appealed the denial of her petition to adopt minor, arguing that the trial court erred in denying her petition after finding that minor’s father neglected minor and erred in finding that minor’s father and mother did not abandon minor. Plaintiff also argued that the trial court erred in denying her petition after finding that plaintiff’s adoption of minor would be in minor’s best interest.
Where the trial court found that minor’s father had maintained meaningful contact with minor, thus precluding termination of parental rights, the trial court did not err in denying plaintiff’s petition.
Judgment is affirmed.
