I know, we have a few weeks until Thanksgiving. But, in an election year, and Coronavirus, and Riots in the streets, I think I want to go back forty years when the world was fun and innocent. Yeah, I know, it never was. But, when I saw this episode of WKRP in Cincinnati, I knew it was a classic. Best and funniest ensemble cast in TV history. Stereotypes weren’t considered racist or politically incorrect. Free speech was an anthem, not a dirge. I give you everyone’s favorite clueless newsman, Les Nessman, as he narrates the WKRP Thanksgiving Turkey drop. “As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!”
