Edgewater New Jersey Marijuana AttorneysHackensack NJ police officers arrested four men who were allegedly operating a drug mill out of Edgewater, New Jersey.

The Hackensack Police Department sent officers to the Riverside Square Mall after receiving a 911 call about two suspicious people loitering. Hackensack police went to the mall and encountered two men: a 55-year-old Florida resident and a 33-year-old Arizona resident. When police arrested the two suspects and conducted a search, they allegedly found the men carrying nearly $69K in cash. The suspects were charged with money laundering.

Hackensack NJ detectives continued their investigation and eventually went to a home located in Edgewater, NJ. That’s where police reportedly discovered a low-level “drug mill.” According to law enforcement, police discovered a large quantity of illegal drugs at the residence, including three kilograms of cocaine, roughly 30 pounds of marijuana, and approximately one ounce of heroin. Police officers also reportedly discovered a kilogram press machine, large scales used for weighing drugs, a money-counting machine, a handgun, and around $182,000 in cash.

Police arrested two more men at the house: a 35-year-old Edgewater resident and a 32-year-old West NY resident.

Both suspects now face numerous criminal charges, including distribution of cocaine, distribution of heroin, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and money laundering.

All four suspects are currently being held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ.
