Sara Reid leads the legal department operations for BJC Health System, one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States.
Promoted to Vice President in 2022 and Deputy General Counsel in 2023, Reid’s responsibilities include corporate governance and general corporate issues and transactional matters.
Reid has a reputation for unselfishly giving bac to students and other attorneys, including advancing the interests of women through promoting them in leadership roles. She also started BJC’s legal intern program and has personally mentored more than 100 students herself.
Prior to joining BJC, Reid started her career in private practice. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University in 2000.
