Immigration & Compliance Shareholder Laura Foote Reiff, who serves as vice president of the America is Better Board, helped kick off the organization’s annual Spring Reception March 16, 2023. The event, which focused on welcoming Afghan refugees, included a panel of speakers who drew from their diverse backgrounds and shared the importance of passing the Afghan Adjustment Act. Panelists discussed the steps businesses are taking to welcome refugees, as well as the challenges currently facing recent immigrants.
