I understand that the NSW District Court base jurisdiction increase will apply for matters filed on or after 16 December 2022.
The increase is from $750,000 to $1,250.000.
The equity jurisdiction increases from $20,000 to $100,000.
The change is made by the District Court Amendment Act 2022 (NSW).
