As many of you will understand, the older we get, the more Xmas becomes a celebration of life shared with family and others. We no longer go crazy and in debt to buy the latest, greatest gift available. We have, however, one tradition that sticks in the gift department, the joint, splurge on ourselves, gift. This year, we purchased dual, powered recliners for the RV. The one thing I really don’t like about RV travel is that I can’t kick back and watch football or TV in comfort. If you have ever tried to get comfortable on a jack knife sofa, you will understand what I mean. And, these things were made for much narrower rear ends than I have the glory to possess. So, this year I am having these beauties installed, and we will be able to lounge in comfort, while we luxuriate in the boondocks. I will no longer be the Grinch that complains about the lack of comfort in the RV. What’s your tradition?
