You Can File Your Divorce Online in NJ

By Marvin Schuldiner on June 7, 2021

The court aspect of divorce can be a very daunting process. With COVID, one aspect of it has been made easier: filing. You can now do that online from the comfort of your home.

Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) allows non-attorneys to file documents with the court. You can also make payments via JEDS for filing fees. JEDS will tell you the status of your submissions as well. You will still need to contact the court to move your case along. Oddly, you can find access to JEDS under the attorney tab on the court’s website.
