A lawyer attending a Zoom hearing was using a cat filter, and was admonished by the Judge. Those of us who have a face made for radio are sympathetic. Why not be able to use avatars and animals as the face of counsel? It would certainly make boring legal hearings more interesting. In all seriousness, fellow members of the Bar, learn your technology, and turn off filters before the hearing. You’ll be glad you did.
