Is there a more iconic quotation than “Beam me up, Scotty!” Four years ago today, my work day was destroyed when this guy was delivered and I spent the day flipping it open with one hand and pretending I was contacting the ship to get beamed off of the planet. Some will say I have never been on the planet. But, I digress. This guy is still working fine, and sits on my desk; although it can be annoying when it takes a bluetooth call and I would rather hear it on my Smartglasses. I still don’t have the courage to take it in a courtroom or Judge’s chambers and pull it out to make a phone call. “Scotty? Scotty? Energize!” Live long, and prosper.
