I have used and loved the Microsoft Book 2, 2 in 1, notebook computer since January, 2018. It is still the best notebook I have owned. I use it, however, like an ultralight laptop, and connect it to external keyboard, mouse and big screen at home and at the office. When I travel, I use the keyboard and track pad in notebook format. However, recently I decided to try out the tablet function, which can be used by detaching the screen and putting the system in tablet mode, or just flipping the screen around and keeping the computer together. For this function, the best input device is the excellent Surface pen, which works just like a pen should. You can draw, erase, point and click, and the pen becomes an extension of the fingers on your hand. Check out this excellent little video to see how it works.
