A petition for certiorari (full text) was filed with the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday in Bruni v. City of Pittsburgh. In the case, the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Pittsburgh ordinance that creates a 15-foot buffer zone outside any health care facility, including a Planned Parenthood clinic. In Bruni v. City of Pittsburgh, (3d Cir., Feb. 6, 2019), the court upheld the ordinance by interpreting it to not cover sidewalk anti-abortion counseling.
