The Government Contractor Coronavirus (COVID-19) Preparedness Toolkit

By Michelle Coleman, Peter J. Eyre, David B. Robbins, Steve McBrady, Nicole Simonian & Thomas P. Gies on March 3, 2020

With the coronavirus disrupting business in parts of Asia and with increasing impacts in the United States, government contractors should prepare for the potential issues that may result if the virus spreads across the United States and across other countries where U.S. government contracts are performed. In addition to being proactive and mindful of health and safety, contractors should be prepared to assert their rights to any cost or schedule impacts that may result if the coronavirus impacts contract performance, such as impacts due to delays, suspension of work or stop work orders, changes, disruption, acceleration, etc. For more information on how to prepare and the issues that should be considered, read The Government Contractor Coronavirus (COVID-19) Preparedness Toolkit.
