Al Muderis v Duncan (No 5) [2019] NSWSC 461 is a further decision in a line of decisions concerning Dr Al Muderis. An earlier decision noted the  deliberate defiance of Court orders freezing assets and enjoining  the contemnor from maintaining or publishing certain defamatory imputations.

In this decision the defendant was convicted for criminal contempt, subjected to a fine and ordered to pay costs. A warrant was issued for his arrest, to be brought before the court for sentencing.

The earlier decisions of relevance were:

Al Muderis v Duncan (No 5) [2019] NSWSC 461

Al Muderis v Duncan (No 4) [2018] NSWSC 925

Al Muderis v Duncan (No 3) [2017] NSWSC 726
