But, Stoicism teaches us that we need to love our fate. Fate will put roadblocks in our way all the time. The client I couldn’t help this morning stormed out of the office. Can’t control that. Will it help if I brood about it all day? Nope. The problem with my blog yesterday and today. I can’t seem to get it to accept photgraphs in the posts. You may notice this is an all text post. Will it help to rant and rave and jump up and down? Nope. In fact, time spent ranting and raving takes away time from getting on the horn with Typepad and fixing the problem. I could go on. But, you understand what I am talking about. So, the next time you catch yourself having a “bad” day, ask yourself whether you control the bad events, or if you control your reaction to them. Act accordingly.
