The foreign representative of Metinvest B.V., the parent company of a vertically integrated group of steel and mining companies headquartered in Ukraine, has filed a chapter 15 proceeding before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No.16-10105). The filing is in furtherance of a proposed scheme of arrangement pending before the The High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, Companies Court in the United Kingdom.
