Greenberg Traurig Business Immigration & Compliance Practice and Attorneys Recognized in 2014 Chambers USA Guide

Greenberg Traurig’s Business Immigration & Compliance practice and several attorneys were included in the 2014 Chambers USA Guide. The 2014 guide includes more than 180 Greenberg Traurig attorneys and more than 30 practice areas across various markets in the United States.

According to its website, Chambers and Partners selects attorneys and practices for inclusion based on thousands of interviews with practicing lawyers and clients around the world. The Immigration practice received recognition in the Nationwide and District of Columbia markets, earning “Band 1” in District of Columbia for the eighth consecutive year. Immigration attorneys Laura Reiff, Martha Schoonover and Kate Kalmykov were ranked in the Immigration category in their markets and/or nationwide.

  • Laura Foote Reiff was noted for “her wisdom and insight, seasoned judgment and advice, and calm nature.”
  • Martha Schoonover was recognized as an attorney who “understands how corporations work, so does not just give pure legal answers, but works on practicalities.”
  • Kalmykov was recognized for her experience in the EB-5 Program and was noted as “someone who stands out from the next generation.”

The 2014 Chambers USA Guide rankings follow Business Immigration & Compliance practice’s recognition in the 2014 Chambers Global Guide in the Global-wide and United States categories.
