On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will consider the pending nominations of Norman Bay and Acting Chairman Cheryl LaFleur. Mr. Bay is FERC’s current enforcement chief and President Obama’s nominee to serve as FERC Chairman (see February 3, 2013 edition of the WER). Acting Chariman LaFleur is under consideration for a second term with FERC, after being re-nominated by the President last week (see May 4, 2014 edition of the WER).
