Sixth Circuit Now Provides Audio Of Oral Arguments Online

By Squire Patton Boggs on August 14, 2013

In a long – awaited development, the Sixth Circuit is now providing audio recordings of oral argument on its website.  However, you have to do a little digging to actually get access to the files.  If you go to the Sixth Circuit’s main webpage, you will see a notation on the left hand side for courtroom audio and it says “(coming soon).”  However, if you then click on one of the links on the left hand side and it goes to the next page, you will see an actual link for courtroom audio.  Click on the courtroom audio link, and voila, there is all the oral argument that you can imagine.  This is certainly a welcome development, and one that will prove extremely useful to any counsel preparing for oral argument.
