Online Library of Open Source Scientific Articles

By Stark & Stark on December 2, 2004

beSpacific, a great resource which I have written about before, has come through yet again with another great on-line resource. Posted today is a link to what is billed as the Largest Online Library of Open Source Scientific Articles. “HighWire Press is the largest archive of free full-text science on Earth! As of 12/01/04, we are assisting in the online publication of 785,108 free full-text articles…and 1,972,541 total articles.”

I am frequently asked by readers about where they can locate information concerning the treatment of a brain injury, seizure disorder, or how to cope with pain as a result of thier injury. I believe that the information contained within the archive of free full-text science publications will go a long way in providing answers to these and other questions.

I have listed below, links to a small fraction of the journals which are contained within the open source library that I think would be of the most benefit to the readers of this blog. I hope that this helps.

Brain
Injury Prevention
Journal of Neuroimaging
Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry
Journal of Neurophysiology
Journal of Neuroscience
Learning & Memory
Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair
