Dallas-Fort Worth Partner Matthew T. McLain recently prevailed on behalf of our company client and its driver employee at the Tarrant County District Court in Fort Worth, Texas.

Plaintiff claimed she was driving her automobile when our client’s driver improperly turned at an intersection and caused Plaintiff to strike our client’s tractor-trailer. Plaintiff alleged that she suffered injuries during the collision that required hospital treatment and caused ongoing back pain.

During the January 2023 trial, Matt demonstrated that the physical evidence from the accident scene proved that the collision could not have occurred in the manner Plaintiff contended. The unanimous jury ultimately found that Plaintiff was negligent and found no negligence on behalf of our clients.

Matt counsels and defends clients in trucking, construction defect, premises liability, products liability and toxic torts cases in federal and state courts. He also has extensive experience advising and defending commercial business litigation cases including those involving breach of contract, theft of trade secrets and breach of fiduciary duty.
