The Federal Bar Association (FBA), Palm Beach County Chapter, has elected Ron Herman to serve as Secretary on its Board. Senior Judge Kenneth A. Marra, U.S. District Judge, Southern District of Florida, swore in the 2022-23 Board at a virtual installation ceremony. As one of the oldest bar association, the FBA was founded in 1920 and to this day, is dedicated to advancing jurisprudence and promoting attorneys involved in federal law. The installation ceremony was followed by a Continuing Legal Education presentation by another federal judge in the Southern District, the Honorable Rodney Smith, who discussed his pathway to the bench and practice tips.

Ron concentrates his practice on white collar criminal defense, including financial fraud, and has extensive experience representing professionals in the healthcare field. In addition to being elected Secretary of the FBA, he has served on various boards and frequently provides media commentary on high profile criminal cases. Ron is known in and out of the legal community as a skilled criminal litigator who is respected by judges, prosecutors, and community leaders
